The daily schedule includes silent sitting and walking meditation, group Zoom meetings, and evening Dharma talks, with optional periods for additional practice, Metta, and mindful movement.Meticulous Planning
Detailed instructions help you prepare your surroundings, arrange meals, minimize distractions, and establish your daily schedule before the retreat begins.Personal Guidance
Private Retreat Interviews offer a daily opportunity to share your experiences, clarify uncertainties, and receive guidance as your practice develops.
The retreat is TMI-Compatible - suitable for practicing a variety of meditation techniques based on directing attention to a specific meditation object, like anapana, body scanning, or metta meditation.
Oded Raz is the teacher leading the Retreat.
I’m the founder of the meditation group Mind Muar, the developer of The Playful Path to Awakening, and was guided directly by Culadasa. I’ve been teaching and developing training programs for groups and individuals since 1997. Click here to read more.
The Retreat Activities
Sitting and Walking Meditation
Each full day includes three core sitting sessions of one hour each and a one-hour walking meditation. Optional practice periods let us extend our sessions or meditate more frequently.
Daily Online Group Meditation
We meet on Zoom at the time marked in the schedule. With cameras on and microphones muted, we practice together while keeping Noble Silence.
Evening Discourses
For each evening, you will receive a recorded discourse by Culadasa, Oded Raz, Alan Watts, or other teachers.
Built-In Support
Retreat Guide and Timer
You will receive a guide covering preparations, practice instructions, Noble Silence, and practical arrangements. A printable schedule and an accompanying timer mark the day’s activities with bells, allowing you to minimize the interaction with electronic devices.
Retreat Interviews
Once a day, you can meet privately with the teacher on Zoom to ask questions about your meditative experiences, share the challenges you face, and clarify the subtleties of the meditation method.
Concluding Meeting
A concluding Zoom meeting takes place the following day, on Sunday, for sharing experiences and insights, and for Q&A.
REGISTRATION CLOSES ON SEPTEMBER 26
